If you cannot understand a letter or a form, need an interpreter for an appointment, or cannot afford food, energy or transport, we may be able to help.

What we can do
Help with the cost of living
We provide grants towards energy costs, household expenses and essential transport to anyone facing poverty or financial hardship.
Help with language and paperwork
For migrants and refugees shut out by language barriers or by financial hardship, we translate documents and interpret at appointments. We help you understand letters, complete forms, and reach healthcare and the other services you are entitled to, and we provide grants for food.
Where you need legal or immigration advice, we will help you find a regulated adviser.
At the hospital
An appointment you cannot explain yourself at is a diagnosis half-made.
If the fare is the reason you cannot get there, tell us that too.
You are entitled to be understood.
